Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, at Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, and Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one of the three siblings. Stone was thought to be academically gifted when she started the second grades at five. In 1975, she graduated from Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). Also, Stone competed and won in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest.
