Singer and actress and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the team of One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. Her first few releases as a country singer were featured on episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to the Top Ten. The last decade saw she was a guest as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and a number of television programs. She also released several singles, but they weren't albums. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love the country genre. Then she decided to pursue the career of a recording artist. However, her first professional role was as a actress in the film Dead/Undead in 2002 when still an teen. Over the years, she appeared on several shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the regular role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the second season (2007-2008). Kramer would go on to appear as Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until about half-way through the last season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer was a star of One Tree Hill from 2009 to in 2012. The actress was a signer of an agreement with Elektra Records, and she released her modern country-inspired tune I Won't give Up during the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. By the middle of 2012, the song was featured on her first full-length album Jana Kramer. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. In the following years she focused her acting career on music and acted in films including Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith helped the album to achieve even greater success, reaching the number three spot at the top of the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two month stint on 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. It was also the year that she landed an adult contemporary success with her song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
