Awkwafina
Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with humorous rap tracks dealing with issues related to race and sexuality. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood after she released an album of raps. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Apart from classical music and jazz, the young Nora started to study hip-hop during her teens. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even learning Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. It wasn't until she graduated that she start focusing on music. The track My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. It eventually made it in her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also included songs that were viral such as body positive Queef or winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter track was tied to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. She opted to pursue acting careers after completing her first two ventures as a musician and author. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films such as Neighbors as well as Storks. In 2018, she landed several breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. In June she released In Fina We Trust.
